This blog was created as a way to reflect on my teaching. My thoughts put "on paper" as a way to think about the successes and failures of my day. The ups and the downs. The lessons learned. The goals I am working toward.
I should tell you that I am a reading specialist and an instructional coach at the high school level, and though I've been teaching for 14 years, this is my first year serving as a reading specialist and coach. The new roles have me energized about my profession, leading me to throw ideas out into the world in order to gain more ideas.
And so I hope that those who happen upon this blog will share their insights. Here's to teaching and learning!
